The Jamaka-Farm belongs to the family for several generations. Citrus and mangoes are grown. Rooibos tea (rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants) grows wild in the mountains.

During springtime the smell of the orange blossoms lies over the whole valley.
In harvest time Oranges, Clementines, Grapefruits, Kumquats, or Mangoes can be eaten directly from the tree.

There are 10 cottages and a campsite on the farm.

At sunset beautiful shades of orange and red are reflected from the almost vertical cliffaces in the surrounding mountains. The gravel road from Algeria to Clanwilliam leads through the farm and passes the 18-km long Clanwilliam dam. This dam is ideal for water sports and fishing. Clanwilliam is known for its Rooibos tea and the Cape-Dutch houses.
